Her innovative work on developing novel non-targeted data analysis techniques for GC-MS and GC×GC-MS during her Ph.D. at the University of Washington has advanced our understanding of gas chromatography and opened new avenues for analyte discovery.
With over 20 co-authored publications, including 14 as first author, Dr. Cain has demonstrated exceptional productivity and leadership in her research. Her achievements have been recognized by numerous prestigious awards, including the Rising Stars in Analytical Chemistry at the 2024 ACS Fall National Meeting and the JEOL – Richard D. Sacks Student Award at the 20th International GC×GC Symposium.
