[Berlin, MA – Oct. 30, 2023] – Organomation announced on Friday that they have won the SAMPS 2023 Company of the Year. Sales And Marketing Professionals in Science (SAMPS) held a virtual ceremony on October 26, 2023 to announce the winner of this prestigious award, along with 10 other awards for various industry achievements.
SAMPS has been around since 2012 with the goal of connecting and empowering individuals within the life science industries to grow professionally. They were the first organization for life science commercial professionals, and continue to provide ongoing education, information resources, and networking opportunities for their members. The SAMPS Awards were started in 2021 to honor the biggest sales & marketing names and companies in relevant science fields for their accomplishments.
The association has recognized Organomation for its outstanding achievements in sample preparation equipment manufacturing and for providing unique solutions to their life science customers. The family-owned manufacturing business was started in 1959 with just one product offering, and has since expanded to offering over 40 products for varying sample prep needs and requirements.
Organomation specializes in nitrogen blowdown evaporators, meant to concentrate down test samples prior to analytical techniques such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The manufacturer's large distributor network allows them to grow globally and sell their laboratory concentrators in over 100 countries.

SAMPS chose to honor Organomation with the 2023 Company of the Year award in recognition for their efforts to improve the life science industry and for maintaining an exceptional workplace for all team members. "The judges were particularly impressed by its inclusive work environment as well as the fact that their products are built by hand which keeps their quality incredibly high", said the award presenter.
Organomation is the third recipient of this award, joining previous winners Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC (2022) and Cell Signaling Technology (2021).
Two of Organomation's team members were also nominated and shortlisted for other SAMPS 2023 award categories. Sarah Johnson, a Marketing Specialist for the company, was nominated and listed as a finalist for the Young Person of the Year award, celebrating those under 30 who have made considerable contributions to their team's success. David Oliva, the company's General Manager, was nominated and listed as a finalist for Manager of the Year, recognizing a great leader who supports and brings the best out of their team members.
