As 2024 draws to a close, we at Organomation are proud to reflect on a year filled with innovation, collaboration, and growth. Here's a look back at some of the highlights from the last year.
65th Anniversary
2024 marked a monumental milestone for Organomation as we celebrated our 65th anniversary. Since 1959, we have been a trusted name in laboratory equipment, specializing in evaporation solutions that enable researchers worldwide to streamline their workflows. Over six decades, we’ve grown from a pioneering company introducing the first commercially available nitrogen blowdown evaporator to an industry leader dedicated to empowering labs across diverse fields like environmental science, pharmaceuticals, and food safety. This anniversary is a testament to our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer success.
Supplier Excellence Award
Organomation received an honorable mention for the Supplier Excellence award at the 2024 Lab Awards, held on October 30th during Lab Innovations 2024 in Birmingham, UK. As a small family-owned business, we take pride in manufacturing the highest quality equipment while providing exceptional support to both our customers and distributor network. Backed by a team of industry experts and a global network of over 100 distributors, we continue to lead the way as a top innovator in the laboratory manufacturing industry.
Attended 9 Trade Shows Worldwide
We proudly showcased our laboratory solutions at nine major tradeshows across the globe this past year, with the help of some of our international distributors. In the United States, we were lucky enough to attend SLAS, ACS Spring, ACS Fall, ASMS, SETAC, and GCC. With the help of our exclusive European distributor, Green Leaf Scientific, we were also able to attend Analytica in Germany and Lab Innovations in the UK. Lastly, we had the honor of assisting one of our newest distributors, Orange Science, at JASIS in Japan. These events allowed us to demonstrate our commitment to empowering labs with reliable and efficient evaporation solutions while building valuable partnerships across diverse scientific fields.
Revamped Existing Product Lines
In 2024, Organomation redefined innovation by redesigning two flagship products to better meet the evolving needs of laboratory professionals. The S-EVAP+ underwent a transformative upgrade, blending the original S-EVAP-RB large volume evaporator with enhanced functionality for vacuum concentration. This redesign introduced improved usability, and created a higher capacity alternative to traditional rotary evaporators.
Meanwhile, the MICROVAP series was redesigned to optimize workflows for small vials and 96-well plates. With a sleeker design and upgraded features, the new MICROVAP ensures precise, high-throughput sample preparation for demanding applications. These advancements reflect Organomation’s commitment to staying at the forefront of laboratory technology, delivering tools that empower scientists to achieve greater accuracy and efficiency in their work.
Introduced Homemade Evaporator Contest
We recently launched our first annual Homemade Evaporator Contest, inviting creative scientists to showcase their DIY evaporation solutions for a chance to win a free Organomation sample evaporator. Participants were encouraged to submit innovative designs that utilize nitrogen or compressed air in unconventional ways, without traditional evaporators. The contest aims to support low-budget labs and foster ingenuity in sample preparation techniques. This initiative reflects Organomation's commitment to empowering the scientific community by providing accessible, high-quality equipment solutions.
This contest will be running until the end of January, so be sure to submit your application today for your chance to win!
Launched "Ask the Expert" Series
With our continuous desire to educate our audience, we proudly launched the "Ask the Expert" series, where we connect our community with industry leaders and their invaluable expertise. Through engaging discussions with our trusted partners, this series delves into the latest trends, challenges, and innovations shaping their respective fields. Whether it’s insights into chromatography, evaporation techniques, or advances in laboratory technology, our experts offer practical advice and thought-provoking perspectives to enlighten and inspire. This initiative underscores Organomation’s commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, empowering scientists and labs worldwide to excel in their work.
Our latest installments of this series include:
